Imagine a world led by people that dare to do what is best for the world?

Transformation is my middle name.

Transformation is a process of becoming something entirely new, or better, or aligned and purposeful. It requires courage and commitment. Many people and organizations get stuck here.
My mastery moves you through with skill, fun and renewed conviction.

What makes me an expert?

I often found myself in situations of transformation, either privately or at work. I have been leading teams and organizations through interesting transformational processes and absolutely loved it! The personal challenges that led to deep personal growth were less fun though. But looking back they were the best and most valued teachers in my life!

With my scientific mind I always search for solutions that give a clear result. I educated myself and tested all the tools on myself. And I refined them until they were optimal for me and the people I work with.

As I got clearer, I visioned big. A new kind, compassionate paradigm for humanity. A new type of leadership, away from greed and self interest. So powerful! This large Vision contains my mission and informs how I contribute, every day.

I started working with people wanting to get past traumatic experiences, looking for more meaning in their life and work; leaders wanting to make a difference, teams and organizations needing to change their culture.

My Clarion Call is for a world of people leading from conscious awareness and from human values. Living with a clear vision and from their fullest potential. Thriving and contributing to everyone’s wellbeing.

I dedicate my work to helping you be the change you want to see in the world!

Fun facts about my life and career

My working ethics

Born in the Netherlands into an entrepreneurial family, working hard for their money. So my working moral is definitely geared to ‘get your hands dirty’. So be ready to dive into the mud with me to do what it takes to achieve your big vision!

I let fear paralyse me

When I was 12 I loved playing chess and was extremely good at it. I was asked to join to Dutch championship, but I got scared and never touched a chess piece again in my life. I still wonder what might have happened if I would have gone that day. That’s why I made it my mission to help people break through their fears and doing what they are passionate about!

I met some cool people

During my time at the Business for Peace Foundation I had the honour to lead a project that involved the President of Ghana, Prime Minister of Norway, the United Nations and International Chamber of Commerce. Together we were building a better world through value-driven business.

Location and family

I moved to Norway because of a job offer and because I love its nature. Living here has also made me value the kindness of the people and their lifestyle: family always comes before work. Makes life so much easier and worth living!
I am the mother of two gorgeous teenage boys and I like to use humour when I talk to them. Always works!

Mindfulness and music

In the morning I have a 1.5 hour practice to set me up for the day by connecting who I truly am. In the afternoon I love to put on some music and sing along while cooking dinner for my family. Or practicing electric guitar. Both practices give me so much energy and joy!

How I met my husband

I met my husband through an argument at work! As a Biologist he thought I had no place in the Oil company that was offering me a job. He was going on about him having a (relevant) Master and PhD degree. Guess what? I “trumped” him by having two Masters and a PhD, got the job AND eventually took over his position as department leader! After that we got into a relationship. How crazy is that?

Free the chickens activism

As a teen I once told my mom in full excitement: “I want to free all chicken from chicken farms”. But she said “NO” and immediately put a lid on my activist heart. And it stayed there a long time until the urge to do good got too strong to ignore. Opening that lid again is the best thing I ever did! It brought back the passion and purpose in my life.

Rock bottom

I hit rock bottom when I was a single mom, going through a tough divorce, trying to juggle my time between my young children and my demanding job. Looking back at it now, it is the period that made me who I am today: practical, compassionate, mentally strong and spiritually connected.

Freedom to be whoever you want to be; do whatever you want to do; for the greater good of all.

Do you feel that same call for freedom inside?

My methodology is honed in decades of experience working in corporations, acquiring Masters Degrees, PhD and a wide range of certifications, practicing spiritual modalities and mostly by deepening the connection to myself.

Marike Stassar, PhD

As Peace Advocate & Visionary Leadership Coach I help established Leaders and aspiring Changemakers that are fed up with what is happening in the world, and want to make a stand for humanity. I help them get really clear on what they are called to do in the world, their Visionary Purpose, and provide the tools and strategies to bring their bold life changing vision into the world and become life-long Agents of Change.

I believe that life is too short to keep playing small! With a world that is screaming for you to step up and become the new type of leader with its roots in Human Values and Conscious Awareness.

My insights on Conscious Leadership and Transformation have been demonstrated in 20 years of leadership positions in corporate and public organizations in transition, as well as in my experience as a transformational coach.

When I am not empowering the minds, brains and hearts of leaders, you can find me sipping a cappuccino in my favorite coffee place, taking up my electric guitar or playing the air guitar while singing passionately along at a concert.

Netherlands born, I reside in Norway with my wonderful husband and two teenagers.
