Create an empowered mindset
From burnout to feeling alive and on purpose - the 2nd and 3rd C that changed my life: Courage & Confidence

We don’t always follow our dreams
Even when we have a vision for our life (see my previous blog about Clarity), we don’t always make that vision a reality. There is so much stopping us on the way.
We have all kinds of excuses: no time, no clarity (wanting to know every detail before taking action), no inspiration, not knowing where to start, or the timing is not right.
Most of all, we let fears and doubts hold us back. We are afraid of having to give up our job, our security, other people’s acceptance (what will my family/colleagues/friends say?). We start doubting ourselves and believe we are not good enough (who am I to start this?!).
Believe me, I have had them all! The thing is, you have no idea of what you are capable of until you try. But most of us don’t even try. We prefer to stick to our imaginary roadblocks in our heads, stay within our comfort zone, instead of pursuing our vision.
Sure, you might have these doubts and fears for a good reason. I kept myself small for many years as a result of a traumatic experience as a teenager. But I came to a point where enough was enough.
I was done being controlled by my fearful thoughts, my narrow mindset and my small self. And I won’t sugarcoat it: it was really hard breaking through my limiting beliefs. But it is so worth it!
We are immensely powerful
We believe ourselves to be so much smaller than we truly are. But the truth is: we are immensely powerful and capable of so many things! “You can have it all!” (quoting a dear friend of mine, who is the living example).
Adopting an empowering mindset is a huge step in the direction of realizing our dreams, of becoming a force for good in the world. And we all know that this is desperately needed!
Over the years I discovered so many new tools that can empower us, so it doesn’t need to be that difficult anymore. There are no more excuses.
Change your mind, change your life
If you really want to be a force for good, then become one! Changing the world starts with you and what you believe you are capable of. Change your thoughts (mindset), change your life.
In my next blog I will share the 4th C that helped me become a force for good. C you there!
