Take purpose-driven action

“The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step” - Lao Tzu

A vision so big it scares you

Everyone that wrote history started with a vision. A vision so big that it might have scared them. Despite their fears and doubts, they all took the first step and kept going. That requires Commitment.

I also have a big vision for the world where all leaders, especially governmental leaders, step up and do what is right for the people and the planet. No more corruption and other ego-driven actions. Leaders that have a mindset of kindness and compassion, and are motivated by moral values. Leaders that dare to do what it takes to create lasting change.

Creating lasting change

Taking big bold steps

And I am more than motivated to contribute to making that happen, to help leaders become that force for good. I have put my narrow mindset behind me (see my previous post about Courage & Confidence) and have taken steps, bold steps. And it isn’t always easy.

There will always be times where things don’t go so well, where we think we have failed or gone off track. It is like when we want to get fit and we start going to the gym. Until…we fall off the wagon once and then decide to drop exercising altogether. Because we believe we will never get there anyway.

No! We will fall, but we can decide to pick ourselves up again. And try again. Seeing ourselves progress will keep us going. If I look back to where I was only 1 year ago, I see that I have changed immensely. And that keeps me going.

Go slowly, arrive safely

From now on, be committed to have Clarity about where you want to go, develop Courage & Confidence by adopting an empowered mindset, take the first step and keep moving forward. One step at the time. Go slowly and arrive safely.

In my next blog I will share the 5th and 6th C that helped me become a force for good. C you there!
